We are seeking a Medical Records Retrieval Specialist that is persistant, quick and accurate in collecting records. You must have a sense of urgency in your day to day work, desire to have maximum productivity and do whatever it takes to get our records on deadline. Our office is fast-paced and high energy, extremely detailed and requires daily expedited records. A main component of this role if the specialists ability to get complete and accurate records very quickly. We look for all records within 24 hours of a clients visit. The right candidate must be able to push through obstacles and be persistant to collect records on deadline.

Duties

Quickly collect accurate and complete records for all patient and all visit from oustide providers and facilties
Processing collected records internally to the proper teams
Ensuring medical records are organized, accurate and complete
Creating digital copies and storing records electronically
Collecting and filing discs and other reports
Transferring data into EMR
Other administrative duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

Strong data entry skills
Sense of urgency in completing tasks
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Extreme discretion in work and the ability to handle highly confidential information
Advanced organization skills
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy
Familiarity with medical terminology
Basic computer skills to scan, organize and access electronic health records
Strong time management skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Extreme persistance
Ability to overcome obstacles in records collection
Ability to give more time to work if needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
