In this role, you will be:

Building multiple AI-powered healthcare products from zero to one (5–10 per year)
Owning full product lifecycle from customer discovery to shipping production code
Working directly with healthcare operators and users to understand real workflows
Translating complex healthcare processes into practical AI tools
Coding across frontend, backend, and data layers using TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node, SQL, and AWS
Leveraging AI coding tools heavily to build at extreme speed
Traveling occasionally for on-site workflow deep dives
Operating in-person in NYC with a small, elite founding team

Territory & Deal Profile:

Healthcare organizations across the United States
Products focused on documentation workflows, automation, reimbursement accuracy, and operational efficiency
Integrations into existing healthcare systems and standalone AI applications
Rapid deployment and immediate usage post-launch

Compensation & Benefits:

Base salary: $150K
Contract-to-hire option (10–20 hours per week to start if needed)
Equity: up to 2%, 4–5 year vesting
Realistic upside of $1M+ equity value within 3–5 years
Future salary trajectory to $250K–$300K within three years
NYC office (Manhattan/Brooklyn), hybrid/in-person

Hardest part of the job?

Speed and intensity. This is not a corporate engineering seat. You will operate in ambiguity, work directly with end users, ship fast, and be expected to think like a founder. There is no bureaucracy, no red tape, and no hiding behind process.

The Right Background:

Full-stack engineer with deep TypeScript experience
Proven track record shipping products end-to-end
Comfortable coding frontend, backend, and infrastructure
Strong product instincts and ability to conduct real customer discovery
Experience using AI coding tools extensively
Prior startup or founder experience strongly preferred
Able to work onsite in NYC and travel as needed
High ownership, high velocity, strong communication
