Job Title: Principal React Developer

About the Role:
Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits is seeking a Principal React Developer with strong expertise in React and Microfrontend architecture. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale, modern web applications that support business-critical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of scalable frontend applications using React
- Architect and implement Microfrontend solutions for modular and maintainable codebases
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality user experiences
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and best practices
- Contribute to the evolution of frontend architecture, tooling, and development standards
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across projects
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Proven knowledge and hands-on experience with Microfrontend architecture (Module Federation, Web Components, or similar approaches)
- Solid understanding of frontend build tools and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with state management libraries like Redux or Context API
- Familiarity with REST APIs, GraphQL, and integrating with backend systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical discussions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with large-scale enterprise applications
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of performance optimization and security best practices
