Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native)
Location: Remote
Salary: $140,000 – $150,000 base
An up & coming sports/entertainment entity is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to design and develop cross-platform mobile applications that power next-generation fan experiences. This role will focus on building high-performance React Native apps for iOS and Android, enabling seamless entry, in-venue navigation, ticketing, and real-time engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and build cross-platform mobile apps with React Native
- Develop native-feeling UI components and optimize app performance
- Implement real-time features (event updates, mobile ticketing, contactless ordering, wayfinding)
- Integrate with backend services via GraphQL and WebSockets
- Ensure offline functionality and efficient performance in high-traffic venues
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams on scalable solutions
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and mentor team members
Requirements
- 5+ years of mobile development, including 3+ with React Native in production
- Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and mobile architectures
- Experience bridging to native iOS/Android modules (Swift, Kotlin, Java)
- Proficiency with state management frameworks (Redux, MobX, Context API)
- Skilled in debugging, testing, and CI/CD automation
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration
Nice to Have
- Experience with ticketing/venue systems, AR features, or IoT integrations
- Background in high-traffic consumer or sports/entertainment apps
