Role: React Developer
Location: Washington D.C. 20433 (Hybrid, 4 days onsite a week)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Job Description:
- Strong proficiency in React (hooks, state management, component lifecycle)
- Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
- Experience integrating front-end with Node.js back-end APIs (REST)
- Familiarity with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite) and package managers (npm, yarn)
- Knowledge of version control (Azure DevOps) and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in writing unit and integration tests (Jest, React Testing Library)
- Ability to work in agile environments with ADO boards.
Required:
- Technical competence: Demonstrated portfolio of React projects connected to Node.js backends.
- Code quality: Clean, maintainable, reusable components, adherence to coding standards.
- Problem-solving: Ability to translate business requirements into scalable UI solutions.
- Communication & collaboration: Works effectively with designers, back-end developers, and stakeholders.
- Performance mindset: Optimizes UI for speed and efficiency in enterprise contexts.
