Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Data Science Intern at Meritshot. The intern will be responsible for conducting data analysis, applying statistical methods, and leveraging data science techniques to derive actionable insights and solve business problems. Daily tasks include working with large datasets, performing exploratory data analysis, building predictive models, and presenting findings in an effective and understandable format to stakeholders. The role will involve close collaboration with teams across the organization to support decision-making through data-driven solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in problem-solving to work with complex datasets.
- Knowledge of fundamental concepts in Statistics and their application in data interpretation.
- Understanding of Data Science methods such as machine learning algorithms, predictive modeling, and big data frameworks.
- Proficiency in Data Analytics and Data Analysis tools or programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or similar.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively present data insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, adapt to dynamic environments, and meet project deadlines.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
Salary: 25k Monthly Stipend per Month for 6 Months and then PPO upto 6-9LPA with Bonuses and Incentives applicable as per Performance.
