Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience working in a engineering environment, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• Experience with antenna design, impedance matching, Electromagnetic simulation.
• Experience with wireless communication systems.
Preferred qualifications:
• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Experience in antenna and RF circuit simulation (e.g., CST, ADS, etc.).
• Experience in antenna design and productization for mass-production consumer electronics.
• Experience in factory mass production quality control, products OTA, and compliance certification.
• Experience with schematic creation, PCB design and layout, including solid cross-functional knowledge in PD, RF, Electrical Engineering, desense, etc.
• Familiarity with antenna impedance tuner and tunable antenna design.

As an Antenna Designer, you play a key role in defining antenna architecture, developing and implementing antenna solutions for Google Pixel product family including phones, foldables, smart watches, etc., from early conception all the way to mass production. Your innovative antenna solutions will help Google products to unlock industry design, achieve outstanding OTA performance, and provide industry leading user experiences to a massive base of Google users.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$178,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
• Design and implement antennas for various wireless system including LTE, 5G NR and mmW, UWB, WIFI, BT and GNSS, etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., ID, PD, RF, Electrical Engineering, compliance, etc.) to develop complete consumer electronics product for mass production.
• Design and implement industry leading antenna architecture and solutions for Pixels phones and devices for mass production.
• Provide excellent wireless user experiences, meet carrier specs, enable appealing industrial designs, and new wireless features and systems.
• Explore and introduce new antenna technologies and architectures to our Pixel product families.
