The Role
As a Senior Product Engineer, you will move quickly to plan, build, and refine high-impact customer-facing features. You’ll work across the stack — from TypeScript and React/Svelte on the frontend to Postgres and Cloudflare Workers on the backend — using AI pair-programming tools to maximize delivery speed without compromising quality.
You’ll collaborate closely with design, product, and platform teams to create intuitive user experiences, tackle ambiguous goals with structured execution, and ship polished updates on a rapid cadence.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of key product areas and ship daily improvements.
- Rapidly iterate on UI/UX and backend logic to deliver a seamless customer journey.
- Translate ambiguous goals into actionable plans, gather data, and measure results.
- Build and maintain TypeScript codebases integrating Postgres, authentication, and edge logic.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools to boost productivity while maintaining performance, testing, and security best practices.
- Troubleshoot live customer issues and deploy rapid fixes.
Tech Stack
- Frontend: TypeScript/JavaScript, React/Next.js or Svelte/SvelteKit
- Backend/Infra: Postgres, Cloudflare Workers, APIs, edge logic
- AI: LLMs, AI-assisted dev tools (e.g., Cursor, Copilot)
Ideal Profile
- 2+ years work experience as a balanced, full-stack product engineer at top-tier startups.
- 1+ stint at a Tier-1 venture-backed startup (founders/founding engineers welcome).
- Experience in government, defense, or high-security environments (or adjacent).
- Proficient in TypeScript, React/Next.js or Svelte/SvelteKit; comfortable working across the stack (50:50 frontend/backend).
- AI-native in workflows and adept at shipping quickly in fast-paced environments.
- U.S. citizen and based in the U.S. (required).
- Low-ego, collaborative, and comfortable with high ownership.
