Job Description:
Developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise-class web applications within an Agile environment. This opportunity allows for telework, providing flexibility to candidates located in Texas.
The developer will focus on user interface (UI) development using modern frameworks like Angular, supporting mission-critical applications in an SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-level UI applications using Angular and other modern frameworks.
- Design and implement user interfaces with authentication, authorization, and caching strategies.
- Create and maintain responsive, client-facing Single Page Applications (SPAs) adhering to industry best practices.
- Analyze and optimize UI frameworks and libraries for performance and configuration improvements.
- Work collaboratively within an Agile team, contributing to all phases of the SDLC.
- Create detailed technical documentation and design specifications.
- Conduct ADA/Accessibility compliance testing for application interfaces.
- Provide technical support for application deployment, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure test-driven development using frameworks such as Karma, Jasmine, and Selenium.
Qualifications:
Required Skills and Experience:
- 8+ years of hands-on Front-End/UI development experience using Angular, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, CSS3, and related frameworks.
- Strong expertise in responsive design, SPAs, and reusable component development.
- Deep understanding of programming concepts including data structures, algorithms, and scalability for web applications.
- Hands-on programming experience in following languages: HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS, Angular, Typescript, JSON, XML, ES5/ES6, NPM, Maven and/or other UI frameworks/libraries.
- Proven experience in Test-Driven Development and testing methodologies (Karma, Jasmine, Selenium)
- Development of UI for ADA/Accessibility compliance.
Preferred Skills:
- 5+ years of experience with:
- Spring Boot Java Applications
- IBM WebSphere Application Server
- Cloud platforms and CI/CD methodologies
- Mobile and tablet platform development
